The Cochrane Collaboration welcomes the Mexican Branch of the Iberoamerican Cochrane Centre. The new Branch, co-directed by Drs Giordano Pérez-Gaxiola and Alejandro González Garay, will continue promoting Cochrane throughout Mexico.We are delighted to see Cochrane branching out around the world.

The Canadian Medical Association recently published an article about the student-run Cochrane blog, Students 4 Best Evidence (S4BE). S4BE is a growing network of students from around the world, from school age to university, who are interested in learning more about evidence-based healthcare (EBH).S4BE has partners from around the world and contributors from various countries. The Canadian Cochrane Centre would like to remind you about our 18 Regional Sites. Regional sites are unique to Canada in the Collaboration and are located mainly at academic health sciences centres. Each Regional Site has one or two representatives who provide a provincial or regional presence in support of the CCC vision and mission.Regional Site activities include:• Promoting local awareness and understanding of Cochrane and its products• Recruiting and supporting local Cochrane Review authors and others who wish to be involved in Cochrane

The Canadian Cochrane Centre and The Cochrane Collaboration are expanding their involvement in continuing medical education (CME), in collaboration with Wiley-Blackwell Publishing (The Cochrane Library’s publisher), through the development of Dr Cochrane — Cochrane vignettes. Cochrane evidence is presented in a memorable fictional story, while corresponding multiple-choice questions provide users with the opportunity to explore and understand the clinical applicability of a Cochrane Review.
