The beautiful award and certificate are now on display at the Canadian Cochrane Centre and we invite you to come by and see them. You can find them in the office of the CCC's Executive Director, Mary Ellen Schaafsma, at L1233, in the Centre for Practice-Changing Research at The Ottawa Hospital - General Campus.
This award was presented by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, at Rideau Hall.
Cochrane Canada was granted the CIHR Knowledge Translation Award based on its significant contributions to global health knowledge through the production of systematic reviews and plain language summaries. Cochrane Canada makes great efforts to disseminate review findings to Canadians and offers an extensive training program for those interested in evidence-based health care. In the future, Cochrane Canada will continue to strive towards an evidence-based healthcare system in Canada and provide high-quality, up-to-date information to consumers to help them make informed decisions about their health care.
