We are seeking a highly productive individual with a strong grounding in the quantitative sciences, e.g., epidemiology, quantitative sociology, biostatistics. Experience working with large databases or conducting intervention studies will be a definite asset.

Denise Thomson, long-time Child Health Field Coordinator, has accepted a new full-time position with the Alberta unit of Canada’s national Strategies for Patient-Oriented Research initiative. This is an exciting opportunity for her and we wish her very well in her new role. Denise will not be leaving the Child Health Field entirely, however, as she has now been appointed as a Field Director, joining Drs. Katrina Williams (Australia), Ricardo Fernandes (Portugal) and Lisa Hartling in Canada.

It’s time all clinical trial results are reported. Watch this video and change something.Results from around half of clinical trials have never been published. Information on what was done and what was found in these trials could be lost forever to doctors and researchers, leading to bad treatment decisions, missed opportunities for good medicine, and trials being repeated. The contributions of the hundreds of thousands of patients who took part in those trials remain unused and unusable.
