On 26 October 2011, the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH) signed an agreement with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) allowing PAHO to translate Rx for Change into Spanish. This will make it available to Spanish regions, increasing the database’s potential to improve the prescribing, practice and use of health technologies in those areas. The agreement also proposes that the two organizations collaborate in training activities to increase regional capabilities for the use of research evidence, health technologies management and other instruments. The agreement will remain in effect until 31 December 2013.
