The Alberta Research Centre for Health Evidence (ARCHE) and Cochrane Child Health have an exciting opportunity for a postdoctoral fellowship. The successful will take a lead role in creating a “living lab” of research in knowledge translation and/or implementation in the area of child health. He/she will take a lead role in producing high-quality peer-reviewed manuscripts, and, as time and funding permits, he/she will participate in conference presentations and will engage in other forms of dissemination.
This position will offer the successful applicant a challenging and rewarding environment. We are looking for an individual with experience in applied research and a strong interest in knowledge translation and/or implementation science. The successful applicant will work with a high degree of autonomy and will need to be creative and innovative in approaching this project. He/she will need to develop strong relationships with a range of individuals and organizations, and therefore needs to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to work effectively with people.
The successful applicant will be supervised by the Director of ARCHE and will work closely with the four Co-Directors of the Cochrane Child Health Field (www.childhealth.cochrane.org). He/she will also have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of researchers located across Canada and around the world.
