4-5 permanent positions as researcher/senior researcher in the welfare services unit available at The Norwegian Knowledge Center for the Health Services
The Norwegian Knowledge Centre for the Health Services, www.kunnskapssenteret.no, produces and disseminates evidence-based research about the effects of interventions and measures the quality of health services. The aim is to contribute to well-informed decisions so that health service users receive the best possible health care. The Knowledge Centre has approximately 200 employees and is located in downtown Oslo, Norway.

Are you interested in developing a unit that works with evidence-based practice within the field of child welfare, education, integration, social housing initiatives, work and other welfare services?
There are 4-5 vacant positions as researcher / senior researcher in the welfare services unit. Individuals hired will especially contribute to the production of systematic reviews, in collaboration with information specialists and methods experts. High productivity is expected.
Responsibilities
- Conduct systematic reviews about the effect of interventions, in collaboration with colleagues at the Knowledge Centre and internationally, related to welfare
- Support ministries and directorates in R&D issues and training that can improve methodological knowledge and evidence-based practice and policy
Qualifications
- Higher education in the field of social sciences or other relevant higher education
- Research experience, preferably at PhD level or equivalent
- Experience with project development, project management, interdisciplinary collaboration, as well as relevant work experience in social or welfare services and / or management
- We are especially looking for persons with experience in conducting systematic reviews about the effects of interventions, performing critical assessments of research literature, using quantitative research methodologies, and handling intervention studies/assessments of effects
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills

- Salary (depending on qualifications): code 1108 researcher, ltr. 50-71 (NOK 429 700 - 628 200), code 1109 researcher, ltr. 57-74 (NOK 482 800 - 662 700), code 1364 senior advisor, ltr 64 -75 (NOK 533 000 - 655 400), and code 1110 researcher, ltr 62-76 (NOK 528 800 - 693 200).
