Applications are encouraged from scientists with expertise in decision and economic analysis (cost benefit, costeffectiveness, net benefit) in healthcare, simulation modeling (e.g., microsimulation, agent-based simulation), and knowledge of statistical decision theory. The successful candidate will have strong quantitative and statistical programming skills and some background in epidemiology or biostatistics is highly desirable. Experience in using systematic review and meta-analysis methods to inform decision and simulation models is desirable. Applicants must have advanced training (e.g., a doctoral degree (PhD), post-doctoral training or equivalent) in Decision Science, Epidemiology, Statistics, or related disciplines with evidence of rigorous training and research, and a capacity to secure external funding. The successful candidate will both contribute to the needs of the Center and eventually develop his or her own research program.

Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Interested candidates should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae and a brief research statement outlining their interests via Interfolio at the following link: http://apply.interfolio.com/30671.

The letter of application should indicate whether the candidate is applying for Assistant or Associate Professor (Research).

Candidates who wish to be considered for Assistant Professor (Research) should arrange for three letters of recommendation to be submitted through Interfolio. Applicants for the Assistant Professor Rank should exhibit a potential to become top caliber researchers. They should demonstrate autonomy in developing their own research agenda and the potential to obtain competitive funding. Multiple first authored publications in high impact journals will be viewed favorably.

Candidates who wish to be considered for Associate Professor (Research) should submit a list of five prospective referees. Applicants for the Associate Professor level must also have a national/international reputation in health services research, an independently funded program of research and a proven track record of leadership in research, teaching and professional service.

Review of applications will begin on October 15, 2015. Full consideration will be given to all applications received by November 15, 2015. Applications received after the priority deadline may be reviewed until the position is filled or the search is closed.
