Although Cochrane is known for their systematic reviews found in the Cochrane Library, most people are unaware of the many other Cochrane resources available. Another popular resource is Cochrane podcasts. These can be accessed directly from the Cochrane Library by using the drop down menu “More Resources” to locate the entire catalogue of podcasts. The catalogue can be searched by podcast title, description or issue.
There are over 400 podcasts to listen to. Each one is less than 5 minutes long and includes a short interview with the author, usually in a question and answer format, to better understand the rationale and context of the review.
Whether you listen during your daily commute, at lunch, while exercising or walking the dog, Cochrane podcasts offer an easy way to keep up with the latest healthcare evidence from the Cochrane Library.
