Tourism Quebec, the Centre des congrès de Québec, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Quebec and Québec International honored 15 members of the ambassadors Circle on 17 January 2013.

Drs France Légaré and François Rousseau, Co-Chairs of the 2013 Colloquium (along with Dr Jeremy Grimshaw) were awarded the Event of the Year award in for the 2013 International Cochrane Colloquium. The event attracted 923 participants at the Centre des congrès de Québec in September and generated tourism spending of around $1.9 million in the region.

This honor recognizes the outstanding work of an ambassador member who is responsible for hosting the North American or international event that generated the most tourism benefits in the Québec City region during the year. Read more here.
