Event: Cochrane Standard Author Training Workshop

Date/Time: 30 January - 1 February 2013, 0830 - 1700

Location: Irving K Barber Learning Centre, UBC, Vancouver, BC

Take this three-day workshop to learn the basic skills of conducting a Cochrane Review. Topics include protocols, setting your question, literature searching, study selection, critical appraisal, assessing bias, data and analysis, formulating conclusions and a hands-on session with the Review Manager software.

Applicant Criteria: Able to bring a laptop computer

Structure: Presentations, small group work, group discussions

Cost: $250 + HST
All materials, daily lunches and refreshment breaks are included. Individuals are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and meal costs not covered by the course as applicable.
