Cochrane Canada provides a comprehensive education and learning program for those interested in conducting Cochrane Reviews. Face-to-face author training is offered throughout the year across Canada in partnership with local Cochrane experts and methodologists. Each year, the Cochrane Canada hosts specialized courses in areas such as advanced statistical methods or “Train the trainer” workshops, in which the Centre develops local capacity for delivering Cochrane training.
Every second year, the Canadian Centre delivers review or update completion courses. Completion courses give Cochrane Review authors dedicated time and space required to finalize their review or update. These courses also offer a venue for reviewers to ask questions and receive help in areas beyond their expertise.
Cochrane Canada Live
Cochrane Canada is proud to present Cochrane Canada Live, a webinar program, which allows individuals from across Canada, and around the world, to participate in Cochrane training sessions while using their office or home computer. This covers a broad range of topics relevant to both newcomers and experienced Cochrane contributors, from “An introduction to The Cochrane Collaboration” to “Reporting Guidelines for Equity-Focused Systematic Reviews”.
